Gamkaberg


1.0 Gamkaberg This meeting was attended by myself and my son Andrew, Andre, Dave and Gideon. The purpose was to deliver the signage made up by Dennis. A big thank you Dennis!
The management of Gamkaberg expressed their gratitude for the signs and were impressed with them. Another meeting will be made for the placement of them.

Nature Conservation Project Part 1 (saturday Trip)


Last year the Club undertook to undertake a conservation project and after a visit to Gamkaberg Nature Reserve it was decided to place a bench at Klippieskloof. At the recent AGM it was decided that an additional two benches would be supplied. After many delays, a long awaited BENCH was delivered to Gamkaberg Nature Reserve on 23 May. The reserve manager, Tom Barry, requested that it be placed at the Oukraal campsite, which we did. Participants for this were the Willemse family, Malcom McClelland and his brand new Isuzu, Andrew and Michelle Thompson, Tizzy and Ciska, the bench transporters, and newcomer   …...
